GP Earnings

It is a contractual requirement for General Medical Services practices to publish on their website the mean net earnings (e.g. average) of partners, salaried GP’s and any Locum who has worked in the practice for over six months. The published earnings relate to NHS General Medical Services delivered to patients.

Additionally, the practice is required to publish the number of full and part time GP’s in the practice.

All GP Practices are required to declare mean earnings (i.e. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working in the practice of Redwood Practice in the last financial year was £63,438 before Tax and National Insurance.

This is for 2 full time GPs, 1 part time GP and 2 Locum GPs who worked in the Practice for more than six months.
